Our Team

Tim McCormick, Chief Executive Officer

Tim was formerly Director, Americas Sales Operations at Cisco Systems following the acquisition of JouleX in 2013 where he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing from it's founding in 2010.  Tim was also Vice President of Marketing at Internet Security Systems (ISS) from 1996 to 2004.  Tim re-joined ISS in 2006, prior to IBM acquiring the company. Tim served as Vice President of Business Solutions Group at IBM Internet Security Systems (ISS) from 2006-2008.  Tim has over 30 years of extensive sales, marketing, product management and business development experience in B2B enterprise software, information security and energy management.  Tim is a graduate of University of Delaware.

David Ryan, Chief Operating Officer

David was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of MarketingCentral, the leading SaaS provider of marketing resource management (MRM) tools. Unica acquired MarketingCentral in 2007. Prior to MarketingCentral, David served as Chief Executive Officer of CAS Americas, Inc. David was founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sirius Systems, a pioneer in the sales force automation industry. Sirius Systems was acquired by Software Artistry (Tivoli) in 1997. He has also held sales positions at Gartner and IBM. David is a graduate of Duke University.

Clayton Whitfield, Vice President Business Development

Clayton served as Vice President of Product Development at MarketingCentral where he led the development of the market leading SaaS marketing automation solution. Prior to MarketingCentral, Clayton led technical teams at Fair Isaac Corp and ACS-inc. Before moving into technology, he was a teacher for the Los Angeles School District and an accomplished actor. Clayton received a Bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia and later received an MBA with honors from Emory's Goizueta Business School.

Alston Gardner

Alston Gardner was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of OnTarget, Inc., a sales training and consulting firm serving technology companies such as IBM, Xerox, Hewlett Packard, Oracle, and Cisco. Siebel Systems acquired OnTarget in 2000. He has been involved in dozens of start-ups including Fulcrum Equity Partners, Hatteras Venture Partners, Bandwidth.com, Sageworks, and MarketingCentral. Alston graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1977 and currently serves on the UNC Board of Trustees.

Tom Noonan

Tom Noonan is a General Partner at the early-stage venture capital firm TechOperators. He is the former chairman, president and chief executive officer of Internet Security Systems, Inc., which was acquired in 2007 by IBM. Tom Noonan was most recently CEO of JouleX, a TechOperators investment and a leading innovator in sustainable energy management systems for enterprise customers acquired by Cisco in late 2013.
